Welcome to Lexi Cruises. By utilizing our services or booking a trip through one of our agents, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are designed to ensure clarity and protection for both the traveler and the agency.
1. Proposal Revisions and Booking
We believe in crafting the perfect itinerary. To ensure your complete satisfaction:
- Unlimited Revisions: Lexi Cruises offers unlimited revisions to your trip proposals at no additional cost up until the time of booking.
- Post-Booking Assistance: After a booking is made, Lexi Cruises will work with our Clients to make requested changes. The Client understands that changes made after booking may not always be possible and are strictly subject to the policies, terms, and conditions of our Travel Partners.
2. Agency Relationship and Professional Commitment
The Traveler recognizes the significant time, expertise, and effort invested by our agents in planning a custom trip, which frequently involves 10 to 20 hours of professional work.
- Communication: The Client agrees to communicate in a timely manner with their Agent. If the Agent’s services are no longer needed for any reason, the Client agrees to inform the Agent within 48 hours of that decision.
- Exclusivity: The Client agrees not to engage the services of another travel agency or travel agent to plan the same trip or vacation simultaneously.
3. Post-Booking Changes and Third-Party Policies
Lexi Cruises acts as an intermediary between you and our Travel Partners (e.g., cruise lines, airlines, hotels, and tour operators).
- Partner Policies: Any changes, cancellations, or modifications made after the booking is confirmed are governed by the specific terms and conditions of our Travel Partners.
4. Travel Documentation and Requirements
It is the sole responsibility of the Traveler to research, understand, and obtain all necessary documentation required for entry, departure, and travel through each destination.
- Pre-Booking Responsibility: Travelers are responsible for knowing all travel requirements prior to booking. You must notify Lexi Cruises immediately if it is discovered that you cannot travel due to these requirements.
- Documentation: This includes, but is not limited to, valid passports, visas, transit visas, health certificates, and proof of vaccination.
- Assumption of Risk: Lexi Cruises is not responsible for any financial losses, additional costs, or damages incurred due to denial of boarding, entry refusal, or cancellation fees resulting from a failure to meet travel requirements.
5. Arrival Timelines and Responsibility
Timely arrival is critical to the success of your journey.
- Sufficient Lead Time: Travelers agree to arrive at airports, seaports, and train stations with sufficient time to complete check-in and security procedures.
- Assumption of Loss: Lexi Cruises cannot be held responsible for any financial loss, missed departures, or additional expenses incurred if the Client fails to meet these arrival guidelines.
- Pre-Cruise Arrival: We strongly recommend arriving in the port city at least one day prior to your cruise departure. If a Client chooses to forgo this recommendation, they agree they are solely responsible for any costs or losses incurred (e.g., travel delays leading to a missed embarkation).
6. Binding Arbitration and Governing Law
By booking with a Lexi Cruises agent, you agree to the following dispute resolution process:
- Mandatory Arbitration: Any and all disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to your booking or these terms shall be settled exclusively by binding arbitration rather than in court.
- Governing Law: The arbitration process and all legal matters pertaining to your travel services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
